Zoe Saldana went from day to night promoting her new film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water,’ on ‘Good Morning America,’ ‘Live with Kelly & Ryan,’ and ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday (November 28) in New York City.
It was announced last week that Alessandro Michele was stepping down from Gucci after seven years as creative director; so while we await this new design shift for the Italian brand, Zoe serves up this look from the brands Fall 2022 collection.
I’ve looked. Looked and looked at this again, and this feels kinda disjointed to me, with the Gucci herringbone blazer very much feeling like the odd man out.
I strongly believe I would’ve loved this look more had the blazer been black with the same silhouette.
You may feel the same way about the Gucci python print leather skirt, but that is my favourite part of this look.
Either way, this can’t be considered boring.
Next up was a trip across town for her guest appearance on ‘Live With Kelly & Ryan.’
On this occasion she opted for a sleek Lafayette 148 keyhole back satin top and flared midi skirt in a lush lilac hue.
I will assume Zoe and Petra felt that the Christian Louboutin Hot Chick sling pumps in lilac were too matchy for this look, so they opted for a tan pair instead.
Perhaps they wanted the tan pumps to give this look more of a fall-like feel.
Her final stop was Jimmy Fallon where the actress wore a black hand-embroidered sequin jersey dress from the Spring 2023 Michael Kors Collection which was much easier to fall in love with.

I love how the impeccable tailoring is married with opulent details to create a piece that’s both sensual and sophisticated.
