Hold on to your heart. In an ultimate act of betrayal, Boston boy Ben Affleck visited a Starbucks. This is shocking, unforgivable, and unforgettable.
In a snap from Friday, December 9, an all-smiles Affleck is seen exiting a Santa Monica Starbucks, drink (with a lot of whipped cream) in hand, wife Jennifer Lopez Affleck at his side. For the Starbucks run, Mr. Affleck wore a dark blue plaid shirt with jeans and sneakers. Lopez Affleck wore festive cream and brown sweater with black wide-leg pants and sneakers. It seems the Lopez-Affleck house was divided in the coffee department, but now they’re introducing each other to their capitalist coffee of choice. In early November, Lopez Affleck accompanied her husband on a trip to Dunkin’, where she at least pretended to be a Dunkin’ girlie. Jennifer was holding not one but two beverages with the logo. In hindsight, I feel tricked, bamboozled, even. I guess marriage is all about compromises!
Affleck is known for his relentless loyalty to Dunkin’, which was founded in his home state of Massachusetts. Many relatable paparazzi photos of Affleck over the years show him holding a cup and/or bag with the Dunkin’ or Dunkin’ Donuts. But now that he is married to a Starbucks person (see that bedazzled Starbucks cup), those days are long gone. Love really does change you, I guess!
Whomever interviews this couple next would be betraying the people if they do not ask them about the Dunkin’ versus Starbucks rivalry within their household.
