Catherine, Princess of Wales attended the Diplomatic Corps reception held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (December 6) in London.
If you’re anything like me, the first thing that caught your eye when you saw the Princess was her hair.
It even upstages the beautiful pearl-and-diamond Lotus Flower Tiara by Garrard for me.
Never have we seen the Princess rock a bouffant with so much volume.
If you’re a child of the ‘80s or ‘90s you’re probably having Barbie Rapunzel flashbacks right about now.
The Princess looked very elegant and princessy wearing a Jenny Packham Elodie gown embellished with sparkling sequin florals.
Along with the tiara, Catherine wore the late Queen Elizabeth II’s earrings, the Royal Victorian Order (GVCO) and Royal Family Order.
I have a feeling that some will deem this ageing, but the dress and all its trimmings were perfectly suited to the occasion.
If you would love to know more about the tiara’s at this event, you can find out more about their history from The Court Jeweller.
