On Friday (December 2), Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William, Prince of Wales attended The Earthshot Prize 2022 which was held at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.
Catherine wore one of her favourite colours: green, wearing a Solace London Sabina off-the-shoulder maxi dress which she styled with an embellished pair of Gianvito Rossi Rania pumps.
As you know from my last post, I said that the Princess will be making a conscious effort to scale back her wardrobe with the cost-of-living crisis currently affecting many Britons.
So, I wasn’t surprised to learn that she had rented this dress from an online retailer Hurr, which she could’ve rented for as little as £74 ($90).
I like that she opted for something that felt modern and fresh.
Catherine wears a lot of green, but this was a very dramatic and refreshing shade shade for her.
But there is something about the bodice, and the way the dress appears on Catherine (especially compared to the model) that has me wishing she had opted for a more seamless bra.
The look was complete with an emerald and diamond Garrard choker and earrings.
The choker was made for Queen Mary and then worn by the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
