Kate Middleton is allegedly just as upset about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix series as her husband.
We’re all aware of the royal rift between Harry and his brother, father, and the rest of the capital “F” Firm, but it seems that the duke’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton is nursing some personal feelings of her own. Harry has known Kate since she and Prince William first started dating, and, by all accounts, they used to be very close. Now, according to insiders speaking to Us Weekly, the Princess of Wales is feeling “hurt” and “betrayed.”
Following the release of Harry & Meghan on Netflix, a palace source offered some insight into how House Wales is reacting personally. “William isn’t planning to give his side of the story or openly retaliate. He’s remaining dignified and is getting on with the job,” the source said. “Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry would do this to her too, especially as the pair used to be so close.”
Per Newsweek, Prince Harry once referred to Kate Middleton as the big sister he never had. When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex first left the UK, it was reported that Kate struggled with the loss of her brother-in-law’s presence. “She wishes she could speak to Harry. She misses him and fears she’ll never be close to him again,” a source told Us Weekly in January 2020.
It was recently reported that Prince William is too “nervous” to speak to his brother. “There’s a great sense of mistrust,” a source told Vanity Fair. “It’s why William won’t speak to Harry, because he is nervous that anything he says might end up in a book or a TV series.”
