I gave the Marmite Award to Emma Corrin because you either loved or hated their style this year.
There was Camp one who loved their creativity, their fearless approach and how they didn’t follow trends (there were no Pink PP looks, Jacquemus, Saint Laurent or hooded dresses spotted on the British star).
Camp two who felt that she was always trying too hard.
I would put myself in Camp three. I didn’t like all their looks, but I always looked forward to Emma’s red carpet outings and fully appreciated the effort.
However, I would love Emma to give us more up-and-coming designers in 2023, as there is an over-reliance on Prada and Miu Miu (who she wore a lot of this year), when Emma’s style doesn’t feel like a natural fit for either brand.
