The Lanvin Fall 2022 v-neck, draped dress was the most worn dress of 2022.
Noomi Rapace was the first to wear the runway pink version of the dress for the Trophée Chopard event during Cannes Film Festival, swiftly followed by Maggie Gyllenhaal is black during the same festival.
We had two more outings from DeWanda Wise in yellow during her ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ promo tour, followed by pink again courtesy of Rita Ora for the Cartier Beautés De Monde Madrid event.
It’s not often we have a dress repeated so heavily on the red carpet.
What baffles me the most is that this dress only looked good on two of the four people who wore it.
Maggie (whose dress appeared to be custom) and DeWanda Wise (who shortened the dress) made it work, but this was still easily one of my least favourite dresses of 2022.
