Ginny & Georgia (Netflix): How do you live with the knowledge that your mother is a murderer? Well, we’ll soon find out, as Ginny is faced with that very dilemma as well as the news that her stepdad, Kenny, didn’t die of natural causes.
When all 10 episodes drop today, the series picks up two weeks after that jaw-dropping finale. “We’re emotionally right where we left off,” Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia, tells Glamour. “One of the scenes I keep referring back to in season one is when Georgia is standing in Ginny’s doorway and Ginny’s desperate to know all the skeletons in Georgia’s closet. And Georgia tells her, ‘I can’t tell you because you’ll never look at me the same. There’s no going back from that.’ So for season two, that’s exactly where we pick up. Secrets are exposed, and Ginny certainly never looks at her the same way. It’s brutal. It’s the emotional elephant in the room for the first few episodes until we really put words to it.”
