If you think that Angela Bassett latest look is a little bit too costumey, then she stepped into the right event for the 2023 Costume Designers Guild Awards held at the Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday (February 27) in California.
The ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ actress wore a Moschino Pre-Fall 2023 double-breasted suit which was bursting with the theatrics we expect from a Jeremy Scott look such as the Count Dracula-esque red silk-lined train and cummerbund worn over the jacket.
Angela took things further with her styling adding a fascinator, but I have a feeling that some of you are wishing that Angela copied the styling.
While I do like how Angela made the look her own, I think she would’ve totally rocked that top hat.
Kenneth Cole platforms and Gismondi 1754 jewels completed her look.
