Cate Blanchett gave us another rerun for the 2023 Producers Guild Awards which took place on Saturday (February 25) in Beverly Hills, California.
And once again she put a new spin on the look.
Back in December 2017, the Australian actress wore the Louis Vuitton Resort 2018 embroidered gold dress as a dress to the IWC For The Love Of Cinema At DIFF event.
In 2023, she opted to strip away the second layer of the skirt and repackage the look as a peplum top with leather trousers.
If you remember, I was always very anti-reruns, as I felt that with so many looks presented during a collection, why rewear a look?
But Cate has continued to keep things interesting, and fresh, and the exciting part is how she can make it her own, again.
I prefer this presentation. I love how much edgier this feels. The second skirt on reflection weighed down the look.
