I have to start off by saying that these images aren’t really doing justice to this collection. AT ALL.
To see this Elie Saab Spring 2023 Haute Couture collection up close was a privilege.
The intricate, sparkling details are slightly muted here, so I hope we get to see plenty of these pieces on the red carpet during Awards Season.
I would love to see the first look on Rita Ora, Emily Blunt, or Anne Hathaway as the all have the stature and confidence to pull off this look.
Hopefully whoever wears it can create this same sculpted on the body illusion. I gasped when this came down the runway.
I mean. Do you see anyone else doing justice to this second look other than Colman Domingo?
Now we get into princess territory. Lily Collins isn’t really doing the princess thing of late, but Lily and Angelababy sprang to mind when I saw this turquoise feathered creation.
The fourth look I can see on Sarah Jessica Parker. But I wouldn’t be upset if this went to Naomi Watts, Thuso Mbedu or Reese Witherspoon.
Believe me when I say this fifth dress is better in person. It would look great on Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johnson, Dakota Johnson or Nieves Alvarez.
This might be very predictable, but Sonam Kapoor sprang to mind when I saw this last look.
From the Bollywood influences to the gold detailing, this was really a no brainer.
