This might be hard for some to believe, but I am always rooting for Michelle Williams.
I want to see a return to her glory days.
Her Vera Wang Oscar moment always holds a place in my heart, so I was momentarily excited to see Michelle in this Valentino Pre-Fall 2023 gown at the 2023 Producers Guild Awards on Saturday (February 25).
The colour is stunning, and I was delighted to see that the fit on the bodice was perfect following her outing in Celine for the 2023 DGA Awards.
But as I scrolled down the dress, it appears to be just a tad too long for her.
These fine details can make or break a look.
I wish someone in her team had said, “let’s take it up an inch.”
The dress doesn’t need to be super fitted, but everything from the waist down looks the way it does on account of the length which is pushing everything up and out.
I wanted this to be a Renée Zellweger at the 2005 Oscars in Carolina Herrera moment for Michelle.
With all that being said, I did find myself still being charmed by this look.
