There’s no question that the midnight blue Roberto Cavalli set Taylor Swift wore to the 2023 Grammys was a reference to the title of her album Midnights. But what about the reported $3 million in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry the Grammy-winner wore to accessorize? As she sings on one aptly-titled track, “Best believe I’m still bejeweled/When I walk in the room/I can still make the whole place shimmer.”
According to a press release from Lorraine Schwartz, the “Bejewled” singer’s bling included over 136 carats of natural purple sapphires, paraibas, and diamonds in her dramatic dangly earrings as well as her sapphire and diamond rings. All of this royalty-worthy sparkle was of course in addition to the crystal and bead embellishments on the singer-songwriter’s custom Roberto Cavalli crop-top and matching skirt.
If nothing else, you can’t fault the record-breaking artist for her commitment to a theme. In addition to matching her jewels to the midnight-blue color scheme, Swift also sported a deep blue manicure and even a swipe of silvery-blue on her eyelids—along with her classic cat eye and signature red lip.
Taylor Swift was nominated for several Grammys this year, including song of the year for the 10-minute version of “All Too Well” and for best country song for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version).” Midnights, in case you were wondering, wasn’t eligible for this year’s Grammy nominations, which is why you’re not seeing her new material here. But by the time she stepped on the carpet, Swift had already scored her first Grammy win of the night, for best music video for “All Too Well: The Short Film.”
