She’s not downplaying it, either. “A wild ride of the emotional fallout that comes in the wake of Billie’s stunning proposal at the end of season one,” Rukeyser continues. “There’s OMG moments galore, big emotions, and twists and turns. Billie is an inspiration…as we strive to find happiness and true fulfillment of our deepest desires, [and the show is a] big, bold, unapologetic exploration of female desire. This is a fairy tale, not a morality tale. Stop being afraid; go find out what your life can be. This show is a thrilling chance to tell the truth about the choices we all make in terms of relationships, desire, and identity.” Six episodes streaming
Young Sheldon (CBS/Paramount+): Tonight’s the night! In “A Launch Party and a Whole Human Being,” Mandy (Emily Osment) goes into labor, but the Cooper family is nowhere to be found. Co-showrunner and executive producer Steve Holland tells Glamour that “Mandy giving birth is a pivotal moment in the season, not just for her and Georgie and their relationship, but for the entire cast.”
Holland goes on to tease that a lot of storylines that have been set up over the last year, like George Sr. and Brenda Sparks, and Mary and Pastor Rob, “come crashing together while Mandy is in labor. So it’s definitely a turning point. Everyone will be dealing with the fallout from this episode.” 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+

Daisy Jones & the Six (Prime Video): The first three episodes in the limited series drop today (the next three drop next Friday, followed by two more on March 17 and the final two episodes on March 24). In episode one, cleverly titled “Track 1: Come and Get It,” we meet Daisy Jones, a disaffected teen who finds her place and purpose in the Sunset Strip rock scene. Meanwhile, ion suburban Pennsylvania, Billy Dunne, along with his brother Graham, and their best friends Eddie and Warren, form a band, desperate to escape their surroundings. Eventually, when Billy and Daisy meet, her talent and his ambition will prove to be explosive.
Then, in episode two, titled “Track 2: I’ll Take You There,” Daisy navigates the LA music scene with the guidance of her close friend, Simone, and legendary producer Teddy Price. Meanwhile, the Dunne Brothers band experience their own challenges trying to make it. Later, after a chance encounter with Teddy offers hope, the band is heartbroken to find Billy’s demons threatening to overpower his potential.
And finally, in episode three (“Track 3: Someone Saved My Life Tonight”), a newly-sober Billy tries to balance his passion with his familial responsibility as the rest of the band pick up the pieces in the wake of a disastrous tour. Meanwhile Daisy finds it far more difficult to write music when there are expectations. When Billy writes a new song, Teddy realizes that a collaboration between the two songwriters might just be the answer to all of their problems, but of course it’s never quite that clear cut.
