Danielle Deadwyler joined a host of celebrities on the red carpet for the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards which took place on Saturday (March 4) in Santa Monica, California.
The actress wore her first Chanel look of awards season, and despite many of you not feeling the Chanel Spring 2023 collection, I’m sure you’ll agree that this white tweed short suit was perfectly in tune with the spirit (deliberate pun) of the occasion.
I’m not sure why the feathers appear more plunked than the runway (I’m assuming something to do with importation requirements from Europe to the US), but I love the look both ways.
This perfectly expresses Danielle’s engaging persona and fabulous flair.
