Lori Harvey was flying solo on the red carpet for the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 12), despite making her red carpet debut with her new beau Damson Idris last month.
I have always been a fan of Lori Harvey’s style, but this Stéphane Rolland Spring 2022 Haute Couture look wasn’t my favourite.
Comparing her look to Nieves Álvarez is only 10% of the problem, the rest is due to the fact that the hooded jacket, and the wide leg trousers are overwhelming her.
Kudos to Lori for attempting something different compared to the majority of the people on this red carpet who went for the easy embellished, sheer gowns, which Lori has done with aplomb many times in the past.
But she has always been a trendsetter, not a follower, so while this didn’t work out for me, I admire the effort.
