Who doesn’t love a fabulous vintage designer outfit? Megan Thee Stallion definitely does, as was made apparent by the incredible 1997 Paco Rabanne two-piece ensemble she wore to the The Hollywood Reporter & Jimmy Choo Power Stylists Dinner on Tuesday, March 28. And nothing complements a retro look better than a few modern touches, like the rapper’s stunningly chic french manicure.
Meg’s overall beauty look was, of course, flawless. The voluminous curls she’s been sporting lately welcomed bangs last night, and the highlight on her brow bone corresponded perfectly with the pale gold of her strapless bra top and flared pants. But its her manicure—created by her go-to nail artist, Coca Michelle—that really tied the whole look together.
It’s a whole new take on the French mani. In addition to being extra-long, it breaks from tradition with slanted tips and two types of gold polish. The base has been mattified to create a satiny finish, and the tips are a reflective chrome finish. The monochromatic contrast is truly nail-appointment inspo.
