I’m pretty sure Nicole Kidman would look Oscar-ready in her pajamas, but that doesn’t take anything away from her slinky, sequined Armani look at the 2023 Academy Awards. The floor-length dress featured a single sleeve, a thigh-slit up to here, and oversized floral decals on her shoulder and at the hip. And if that wasn’t enough glitz, the Oscar-winner also accessorized with jewels from Harry Winston and OMEGA.

Kidman wore her long blonde hair loose around her face, almost obscuring her dark smokey-eye. And don’t forget the shoes: a pair of strappy, pointed-toe stilettos on full display thanks to the dramatic side-slit in the skirt. Speaking to Vanessa Hudgens on the red carpet during the pre-show, Kidman said she was choosing to accept her AFI Lifetime achievement award as a celebration of all the directors who’d chosen to work with her over the years. “I’m not a big one to celebrate myself,” she demurred.
