Vanessa Hudgens Talks Know Beauty, Her Signature Look, and Desert Island Products

Fashion weeks are always very inspiring, whether it’s Paris or Milan or New York.

What’s your favorite way to take a moment for yourself?

Putting on my mask, honestly. It’s just a nice little reset for myself, and I know that I’m doing something proactive whilst relaxing.

You can only use three products for the rest of your life. What are they and why?

My Glacial Bay Clay Mask, the Sublimage Eye Cream from Chanel, and the Snatched by Pauly because it just keeps everything really tight. I feel like between those three things I’m going to be looking great for a while.

What’s your go-to getting ready music?

Black Coffee.

What’s the last TikTok rabbit hole that you went down?

Oh my gosh. I’m obsessed with this one girl on TikTok. She puts different things under a microscope and shows all these different microbes. It is wildly fascinating, and I think that I’m getting myself a microscope so that I can look at things under my own microscope.

What’s your favorite emoji?

I feel like I’m a really lucky, loved-up gal so I feel like the emoji that I probably use the most is the little smiley face with the hearts around it.

If you could change one thing about beauty standards in Hollywood or on social media, what would it be?

People naturally look like they have a filter on social media, but there’s a lot of work that goes into looking a certain type of way, whether that is facials or for some people, fillers, or Botox or whatever people do. Everyone looks to that and sees this image of perfection and thinks that they should look like that as well. I would like for people to embrace aging naturally and know that even the people you think look perfect have worked really hard to look that way and to stop comparing.
