Anya Taylor-Joy attended the reopening of The Landmark at Tiffany & Co 5th Avenue on Thursday (April 27) in New York City, and her impact was instant.
I do love Anya as a Dior ambassador, but her story telling went into overdrive when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing this Dilara Fındıkoğlu Spring 2023 dress styled with Aquazzura Sting sandals.
Monochromatic looks are one of the most impactful ways to stand out, but feathers have always played part in creating mesmerising artistic masterpieces, and this is no exception.
If I was to nitpick, the Tiffany & Co. earrings, rings and bracelets were sufficient, the necklace with that neckline wasn’t needed, and didn’t make much sense to me.
However, seeing the bird-in-flight shaped jewels up close, I’m now wondering what came first? The jewelry or the dress?
I am sure many will point to Alexander McQueen Spring 2001 and his Spring 2008 summer bird collection as inspiration for this red dress, and I would agree that this look could’ve been pulled from the archives.
