Bel Powley attended the National Geographic and Disney+ premiere of ‘A Small Light’ held at Tushcinsky Theater on Monday (April 17) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I was really surprised that a lot of you weren’t as enamoured by her Christopher Kane dress as I was.
What I love about Bel’s style at present is the sense of romanticism and whimsy she brings to the red carpet, which is why Simone Rocha is such a good fit for her, as the designer’s pieces are underpinned by those traits, and this Simone Rocha tiered sequin-embellished grosgrain-trimmed tulle midi dress from the Spring 2023 collection is no exception.
We have come to expect exaggerated silhouettes and puff sleeves from Simone Rocha, but this dress presents something slightly different.
The streamline silhouette, and sequin-embellishments take center stage, along with layers of tulle adding flare to the hemline, and the ribbons (both on the hem and the earrings) amplifying the femininity.
I’m mildly obsessed with this look.
