While those attending the Prince’s Trust Gala held at Cipriani South Street on Thursday (April 27) in New York City opted to wear gorgeous gala gowns, Doja Cat wasn’t in the mood to comply with any style of formal dress code.
This was abundantly clear when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing a Roberto Cavalli Fall 2023 crochet-effect knit mini dress with plenty of openwork lace which created a transparency effect, styled with a Dsquared2 belt.
This won’t be to everyone’s liking.
My main issue is that this is a “time and a place” dress, and it would’ve been better suited for an after party, or a music ceremony.
When it comes to the look itself, my main issue is the zebra print platforms.
But I guess when you are already making head scratching choices, an additional one won’t matter.
