It’s always possible that Trump originally intended to include Melania in his thank yous, but he simply forgot. Then again, it could be a signal that not all is well between Donald and his former first lady. It was not lost on onlookers, for instance, that while firstborn son Eric Trump joined his father on the private plane that flew him to his arraignment in New York City, Melania apparently opted to stay home, according to The Independent. Nor was she among the audience listening to his Mar-a-Lago speech afterwards, according to The Guardian. Her absence even caused “Where’s Melania” to trend on Twitter.

As first lady, Melania Trump was often seen but not heard, and lately she’s been neither seen nor heard. Now, at least for Donald Trump, she’s neither seen nor heard nor even remembered.
