Gugu Mbatha-Raw attended the La Mer heritage dinner held at Frameless in Marble Arch Place on Wednesday (April 19) in London, England.
The British actress wore an Erdem Fall 2023 textured satin midi dress for the occasion.
The dress itself is beautiful. I love the muted gold hue against Gugu’s skin tone, and how she complemented the embellished floral motif with her sandals.
I’m trying to take into account the fact that the fabric has a crinkled effect to it, but that nagging feeling that this fabric didn’t hold up all too well is taking over.
Without the runway image, my first thought would’ve been immediately negative.
Gugu looks beautiful regardless, but what are your thoughts on this fabric?
