Kerry Washington attended both the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations for ‘Unprisoned,’ and the Deadline Contenders Television event on Sunday (April 16) in Los Angeles, California.
This is the first time the actress was working with new stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn following the retirement of Law Roach.
Looking at this Christopher John Rogers ruched-detail single-breasted blazer and matching high-rise trousers the proportions may have been just a little too big for Kerry.
I can overlook this, because I’m more distracted by the burgundy bag which feels very much out of place here.
The bag feels too formal for the playfulness of the suit.
FoundRae Fine Jewelry earrings completed her look.
I was getting the “too big” feeling from this Veronica Beard denim wrap dress as well.
I love the chic, but laid back nature of the look, and the styling which included a sheer Commando bodysuit and simple black Louboutin heels, but the sleeves appear too long, and even with the dress buckled on the last first loop, the dress still appears too big.
Jewels from Eéra, Sara Weinstock and Nouvel Heritage completed her look.
Thoughts?
