There are very few TV shows that had quite the hold on pop culture as the second season of The White Lotus. And despite the season finale’s many meme-able moments, it’s Meghann Fahy’s monologue on the beach that still has us reeling. But for those of us who have been fans of Fahy’s since her days as Sutton on The Bold Type, her star turn was a long time coming.
For her latest project, Fahy is bringing a little sexiness to a category that could very much use it. She’s teaming up with Astepro Allergy, a new long-lasting nasal spray that starts working in 30 minutes flat, for their “Feel Sexy Fast” campaign. “I have suffered from seasonal allergies for as long as I can remember, so it felt like a really authentic collaboration,” she says. “I really loved the way that they wanted to creatively approach the product. There’s a really good sense of humor to the ad that we shot, which is really fun. It just felt cool and accessible and fresh in a way that these things can not be.”
In conjunction with the launch, Astepro also launched an “ultra-limited-edition” unisex eau de toilette, called La Spontanéité, which fans can win on Instagram. “It smells like Abercrombie in a way that pleases me,” says Fahy.
Another scent Fahy is a fan of? One of the hair products they used on the set of the hit HBO series. She can’t remember the exact product, but hopes to happen upon it again soon. “There was a hair oil they used that smelled so good. It was an almond oil of some kind,” she recalls. “I feel like if I smelled that again it would take me right back to that moment in time.”
Her White Lotus alter-ego may be more of a maximalist, but Fahy keeps it simple when it comes to her beauty routine—and that’s partially due to her allergies. “I get all red and my face gets dry,” she says. “So I wake up in the morning and I do my skin care routine, brush my teeth, and I do my nasal spray, and I’m good,” she says. “Most days it’s tinted moisturizer, mascara, and I’m good.” But like the rest of us, she admits, “I have so much makeup that I don’t wear but I can’t stop buying it.”
Where her skin is concerned, Fahy is even more low-maintenance. “I love trying stuff but my skin’s pretty sensitive so I have to be pretty careful,” she says. Ahead, Meghann Fahy shares her favorite skin care products for Glamour’s Drop the Routine.

My cleansers
Morning is really simple. I wash my face, and I put on SPF. I double-cleanse, I use Banilo Co. Clean It Zero, which is this cleansing balm that gets off mascara and everything. Then I have a Paula’s Choice Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser I use after that.
My moisturizer
At night, I’ll do a retinol, then I use Dr. Jart Tiger Grass lotion that helps with redness. It’s a thick cream but it’s not oily.
My sunscreen
It’s a Paula’s Choice Essential Glow Moisturizer SPF 30. It’s so good, it makes your skin so glowy. I use a lot of Paula’s Choice stuff because it’s so gentle. It’s not scented, there’s nothing irritating. That’s what usually suits me best.
My facials
I just started going to Kate Somerville and they do a really great facial. I’m just starting to get into that, I didn’t really get facials until recently. I’ve always struggled with acne, and I’m excited to see how incorporating that into my routine on a more regular basis helps.
