Michelle Obama is currently promoting her new book, The Light We Carry, with guest appearances on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ and CBS Mornings this week.
The former first lady’s post-White House style is even more intriguing, because she is no longer playing by the tweed set, cardigan and skirt, shift dress playbook.
Yet I was still surprised to see her rocking this utilitarian Fendi jumpsuit from the Fall 2023 collection, mostly because wore the matching pleated skirt we saw on the runway.
I would have expected her to have removed this skirt as it’s quite a trendy element, so I love her for staying true to the designer’s vision.
For her guest appearance on CBS Morning the following day, Michelle opted to go sunny side up wearing a look from the Sergio Hudson Spring 2023 collection.
This has been such a popular collection with celebrities, as the designer has been on a mission to make tailoring colourful and fun.
In Sergio Hudson’s world the modern working woman loves colour; his popularity is proof of that.
