Rihanna is Rihanna’ing in New York City again, and everything feels right. On Tuesday, April 25, the pop star, businesswoman, billionaire, and mother was seen in the Soho neighborhood wearing a casual—and dare I say—relatable outfit that pretty much anyone can recreate from the current offerings of their own closet. She simply paired jeans with a hoodie and white sneakers.
Rihanna wore slightly slouchy medium-wash straight-leg jeans with a caramel-colored zip-up hoodie that showed off her baby bump (in case you have forgotten, she is expecting baby number two, news she not so subtly dropped during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February). She paired them with a pair of crisp white sneakers, black sunglasses, and a brown Louis Vuitton bag, and elevated the look with a chain necklace, extra-long nails, and incredibly shiny hair, which she wore down with a middle part. This look kind of reminds me of what I wear to walk my dog or get groceries, except way chicer.
It appears that Rihanna is in her jeans era. On Monday, April 24, she was spotted shopping at a New York City Target (celebrities are literally just like us) in half-buttoned baggy jeans in a dark wash, a white tank, a fur coat, hiking boots, sunglasses, a heart necklace, and a New York Yankees baseball cap. This is in stark contrast to her first pregnancy, during which she wore adventurous ensembles including—but certainly not limited to—micro-minis, cutouts, and crop tops.
