As far as I am aware, Ryan Gosling is not still filming for Greta Gerwig’s much-anticipated Barbie movie, in which he plays Barbie’s main boytoy, Ken. However, it would appear that some part of Ken has remained with the actor. Specifically on his head.

Gosling was photographed at an event in London on April 20, with tousled dark blonde hair seemingly streaked with light blonde highlights. Have we reached the point of early aughts fashion nostalgia where we are ready to bring back frosted tips? Or is this just a hold over from Gosling’s most recent role? In fairness, there is very little about this look that isn’t giving me serious Ken Doll vibes. Gosling also wore a bright pink shirt, unbuttoned at the top, under a deep blue patterned suit. But the heartthrob maintained just enough scruff to remind the world that he is still a human man and not a plastic child’s toy.
