Maybe it’s all part of the marketing strategy for the upcoming film, but the energy happening between Sweeney and Powell in these pics is doing nothing to dispel the ongoing rumors of an affair between them. Powell has been in a relationship with model Gigi Paris since 2020, according to Page Six‘s calculations, and the goss has been that Sweeney and Powell got together at some point since they began filming together in Australia. (Sweeney got engaged to restauranteur Jonathan Davino in 2022.) They do look extremely cozy in the photos of one another from Down Under that they’ve been posting to their socials. Add to that, now it looks like Paris has just unfollowed Sweeney on Instagram, per Page Six.

Then again, it’s entirely possible that Powell just has this kind of chemistry with everyone, and the flirtatious vibes he’s giving off are not, actually, Sydney Sweeney specific. On the other hand, have you seen Sydney Sweeney? It’s a very tough one to call.
