Zendaya was the recipient of the Star of the Year Award during the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards held on Thursday (April 27) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Seeing the actress in this vintage Versace Fall 2001 lace mesh gown featuring a draped neckline, leather inserts your reaction might be, “wait…what?”
Because that was my exact reaction.
When the ‘Dune: Part Two’ actress was confirmed as a Louis Vuitton ambassador, I thought that was a wrap on seeing her in other labels.
I mean, when was the last time you saw Emma Stone, Lea Seydoux, or Jennifer Connelly wear a label other than LV?
I think the only Louis Vuitton brand ambassador I have seen stepping out in Gemma Chan.
I guess we have our confirmation that this isn’t a strict contract, and those of you who were worried we wouldn’t see these archive moments again can breathe a sigh of relief.
Back to the dress which had her looking like sweet caramel as she paid homage to a time when glamour was so simple and effortless.
It’s also the longest time Zendaya has gone with the same hairstyle.
I know some of you are ready for a change, but I adore the ease of it all and how the retro mood aligns with the archive looks.
This is another win for Zendaya, despite the creases.
