The civil rights lawyer was dressed in a custom Atelier Versace cashmere jumpsuit.
You might be looking at Amal wearing a Haute Couture look to a TKMaxx event and wondering why.
I think the simple answer to that is, “because she can.”
I would question this only if she was wearing an embellished, slit to the hipbone look from the Spring 2023 collection, but this summery, one-piece was perfect for the daytime event.
If I was to nitpick I would say that the trousers appear too long for a custom look, and I’m only giving the black shoes a pass because of the leather belt.
