Ariana DeBose was a guest of Joseph Altuzarra for the 2023 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).
The Oscar winners fortunes on the red carpet can be frustratingly inconsistent.
As we all know, taffeta isn’t her friend.
So I was delighted to see that it wasn’t part of Joseph Altuzarra’s design process when he created this custom off-the-shoulder cropped parka and fluid silk maxi skirt for the actress.
I don’t detect the theme, but when Ariana looks this good, giving us a complementary, modern look that it crease-free…this is a win, and the theme – for me – isn’t required.
Complete with cornrows and Bucherer Fine jewelry, I’m adding this to Ariana’s Hall of Fame.
Praying this continues, as I’m longing for a consistent run from Ariana.
