Is there a new man in Megan Thee Stallion‘s life? If new pics are to be believed… perhaps.
As noted by People, Megan was spotted hand-in-hand with Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku at the wedding of his teammate Lautaro Martinez in Lake Como, Italy. Megan looked gorgeous in a chartreuse draped gown and champagne colored Chanel bag, her auburn hair worn in curls.
OK, but wait, back up. Doesn’t Megan have a boyfriend? The Hot Girl Coach was dating fellow rapper Pardison Fontaine, aka Pardi, and had been for several years. In February 2021, Megan confirmed their relationship on Instagram Live. “People don’t know what the hell they talking about, they just be saying anything,” she said. “I didn’t like what they was trying to say about Pardi ’cause he is so calm and so sweet. That’s my boo. And I really like him!”

In October 2022, Megan and Pardi marked their second anniversary with some cute Instagram posts and glamorous dinner date in New York, leading fans to believe they’d gotten engaged. However, Megan denied engagement rumors, saying, “Lol as nice as last night was we are not engaged.” As noted by Essence, Pardi took the stage in early 2023 to recite a poem that many thought was inspired by Meg.
The two were headed to a happily ever after, but things may have changed. People reported that both parties have deleted the aforementioned anniversary Instagram posts about each other and don’t follow each other anymore, so it’s possible they split and just didn’t make a formal announcement—which is totally their prerogative, of course. People also reports that they reached out to Megan’s rep for comment on the potential new relationship but did not hear back.
While it remains to be seen whether Megan and Lukaku are actually dating or just casually seeing each other, People noted that the pair are both managed by Roc Nation, so they have that in common—and they may have met via their shared management. It goes without saying that you can absolutely attend a wedding as friends, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on Megan and Lukaku just in case. After all, it is prime time for a summer romance!
