Kate Middleton loves a shirtdress, and it looks like she’s now added a green version of an old favorite to her large collection of tea-length, A-line frocks. The Princess of Wales never strays very far from her own tried-and-true personal style, and tends to rewear the same pieces again and again in a variety of color-ways for years. The bright dress she wore on a visit to the Anna Freud charity on May 18 is a perfect example.
Like many of Kate’s favorite dresses, the emerald green “Flippy Wiggle” dress from the brand Suzannah combines menswear-inspired details like sharp lapels and a slim belt at the waist with more ladylike puffed sleeves and a swishy skirt. Also on-brand for the princess is the fact that she’s been seen wearing a white version of the same piece on multiple occasions. Per British Vogue, Kate wore the white Suzannah dress to Wimbeldon back in 2019, and again to celebrate the king’s coronation in 2023. On this occasion, Kate paired the emerald dress with a pair of two-toned slingback Mary-Janes from Alessandra Rich and minimal additional accessories.
