Lea Michele who stars in the vivacious and delightfully glitzy musical comedy, ‘Funny Girl,’ was on hand to host the 2023 Tony Award nominations on Tuesday (May 2) in New York City.
The actress wore her second look from the Brandon Maxwell Fall 2023 collection.
However, on this occasion I wasn’t so enamoured.
I adore the tan hue on Lea, and the peplum detail on her strapless top, but I was less enamoured by the trousers.
The creases aren’t the issue, nor is the fact that they are a few shades darker than the top as I love a tonal look.
As you know I’m a bit of a stickler for tailoring, and I feel that these trousers needed some work – however minor – to fit Lea properly.
To me the trousers appear a size too big.
