The 2023 Met Gala honouring Karl Lagerfeld is going to be a night of archive gowns and plenty of nostalgia.
Nicole Kidman gave us a nostalgic moment stepping onto the red carpet wearing a Chanel Haute Couture gown which should be familiar to you, as it is the same gown the actress wore in her Chanel N°5 advertising campaign directed by Baz Luhrmann which aired in 2004.
I adore how this look was both delicate and dramatic, but I was really disappointed with her choice of shoes.
Black was so heavy with this heavenly blush shade.
I also would’ve loved more body in her hair. Some retro curls would’ve perfected this outing for me.
