Rumors that Taylor Swift is dating The 1975’s Matty Healy seem to be substantiated now that they’ve been spotted “cuddling and smooching” at a restaurant in New York City. I don’t know if it’s totally accurate to call the outing a “date,” however, as they were also joined by Swift’s emotional support songwriting and producing partner, Jack Antonoff.
Photos published in Page Six show Swift, Healy, and Antonoff hanging out at Casa Cipriani, a members-only club in lower Manhattan, on May 11. An unnamed “eye-witness” told the outlet that Swift and Healy, “sat next to each other at a banquette in the lounge,” and were seen, “cuddling and kissing.” Swift wore a floral-printed yellow dress for the low-key hang, while Healy was apparently dressed in a suit.

While neither Swift nor Healy (nor Antonoff) has publicly confirmed the relationship, a source told Us Weekly earlier in the week that the two are, indeed, “hanging out.” Said the insider, “They’re looking to give things a second chance,” referring to a years-old fling between Swift and Healy, and are, “having a good time reconnecting again.” A second source told Us, “They both respect and admire each other’s talent. They have a lot of mutual friends, including Jack Antonoff.”
And just like that, mere weeks after the Joe Alwyn breakup, we’ve officially entered a new Taylor Swift era and it smells like chocolate.
