As you might have guessed, the bright suit is another royal re-wear for Princess Kate. She wore the same Alexander McQueen ensemble in June of 2022, for another event about early childhood development. On that occasion, she rocked a pair of matching pink pumps and a simple white camisole.
Her monochromatic styling on Thursday gave the suit a completely different vibe—more posh than polished—which goes to show the power in swapping a tried-and-true cami for a deep-V and a statement accessory, like her the pearl-encrusted white belt buckle. Her styling from last June is a tad more timeless, but isn’t the matchy-matchy look more…fun? (I’d say so.)
Early childhood is the issue nearest and dearest to Princess Kate’s heart, and her visit to the Foundling Museum was one of back-to-back engagements she’s made to promote that mission. According to People, Kate Middleton is a patron of the museum, which was made in honor of the Foundling Hospital, and offers programs that support vulnerable youth.
“Their ground-breaking work to support each care-experienced young person to fundamentally change the future direction of their lives is one that means the world to me,” she said in a statement. “Importantly, it shows that it is never too late to make a difference, and that by providing the right support, we can enable those who have faced real difficulties to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.”
