Margot Robbie was joined by her cast mates and director Greta Gerwig for the photocall at Icebergs Bondi in Sydney, Australia Thursday (June 29), where they were promoting her new film, ‘Barbie.’
Issa Rae was very much on theme in terms of colour, but my immediate thought was that the two shades of pink from Alice + Olivia suit are a little jarring, and the fabric is a little unforgiving.
America Ferrera fared much better in this black Herve Leger variegated rib peplum top and ribbed pencil skirt from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection, which was both sculpting and uniquely shaped, with both a peplum and fishtail hem.
We’re used to seeing the actress in a look with a much daintier flair, I was excited to see her opt for something a lot sultrier in this black look.
I just knew that the suits would make a return when I saw Greta Gerwig at some point during this promo tour, as the director likes to set herself apart from stars of the films she directs in tailored looks.
Her look for the LA photocall might just be a one off.
