Cate Blanchett attended the 2023 Fragrance Foundation Awards held at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on Thursday (June 15) in New York City.
The Australia actress wore an Armani Prive Spring 2023 black sequin dress featuring the colourful harlequin motif, which was prevalent within this collection.
Are you having a mild case of déjà vu?
That’s because Cate wore the black sequined outer layer of this dress to the 2023 SAG Awards back in February.
But for the SAG Awards, the dress was layered with a black lace from the Armani Privé Fall 2013 collection.
The change is very subtle, while continuing Cate and Elizabeth Stewart’s efforts in terms of sustainability, which the stylist also rendered when styling Calista Flockhart for the ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ premiere this week.
Which version of this look do you prefer?
I think she looks beautiful either way. But I think I prefer the SAG outing as the black-on-black feels more glamorous.
