Following the photocall, Issa Rae opted to wear pink again for the ‘Barbie’ Celebration Party held at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Friday (June 30) in Sydney, Australia.
Much like her previous look, I’m not sold on this Givenchy 4G lace maxi dress.
I love this shade of pink, and her complementary makeup, but the interior slip is what I find jarring on this occasion.
Considering it’s winter in Sydney, opting for a turtleneck was a smart choice, but I can never get on board with a lining stopping short on a dress.
I’m really hoping Issa turns things around for the global premiere, because so far I haven’t found myself loving any of her looks, which is an unfamiliar feeling for me.
