Jessica Chastain was spotted making her way to the 2023 Drama Desk Awards on Tuesday (June 6) in New York City, where she received an award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play for her performance in ‘A Doll’s House.’
When a dress is simply too predictable, why not wear a suit? Especially considering that appeared to be the dress code at this event.
And who better to suit up in, when you want to stand out than Sergio Hudson?
We know how he tailors his suits offering a fun, decidedly contemporary approach to dressing up, and it looks like the same love is shown to his jumpsuits.
Imbued with a retro flair thanks to the flares, I do however wish that the trouser length had been just an inch or two shorter.
The rule should be, if you can stand on your trousers, they are too long.
I would love to see the jumpsuit on its own, but for this occasion the blazer adds to the semi-formal nature of the occasion.
As you know I love Jessica in green, but I never would’ve expected to see her in this vibrant shade which is perfect for summer.
The sunglasses were needed.
