Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore an absolutely gorgeous Giambattista Valli haute couture gown to a Bulgari event in Rome on June 8, which she styled with a statement necklace and a very surprising hair look.

Chopra is blessed with the kind of face that will look stunning no matter what she does with her hair or makeup. Still, there’s no denying that the half-up pigtail look she rocked for this occasion was a very bold choice. It’s definitely giving Baby Spice, but whether that’s a good thing or not is in the eye of the beholder.

The gown, however, is an unambiguous stunner. The snow white couture dress is heavy on the draping and even heavier on the drama thanks to a lengthy train, dangerously high side slit, and voluminous feathered bell sleeves. The gown’s plunging V-neck looks almost demure in comparison. Chopra highlighted the neckline with the addition of an emerald green Bulgari pendant necklace and finished the look with white peep-toe pumps.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen Chopra take a plumage-happy approach to bridal white on the red carpet lately. Back in March the actor added a striking feathered shrug to a lacy corset top and matching skirt, and in May she had a Marilyn Monroe moment in a white halter dress that recalled Monroe’s most iconic look.
You have to hand Priyanka Chopra Jonas at least one thing. She’s not afraid of the drama.
