Victoria Beckham and David Beckham made a rare red carpet appearance for ‘Le Chouchou’ Jacquemus’ Fall 2023 fashion show held at the Chateau de Versailles on Monday (June 26) in Versailles, France.
We always expect the fashion designer to be in her latest collection, so with the beautiful weather and Chateau de Versailles in the backdrop, Victoria, who is known for her love of black dresses, surprised me with this pale pink knot detailed dress from her own Resort 2024 collection which has the same rural energy and ‘90s-inspired charm of a Simon Porte design.
While I love how this dress supports asymmetry and ruching in one piece, I can’t get on board with the styling.
When I saw those ridiculous shades, I said to myself that Beyonce has a lot to answer for, but Queen Bey can’t be blamed for the rest of the styling which included Victoria Beckham’s signature The Chain pouch bag and open toe thigh-high boots.
I would’ve preferred something more tonal here.
David Beckham was looking very handsome in his linen suit.
