Knowing that Catherine, Princess of Wales is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, I was waiting for her look from the Wimbledon Championships Ladies’ Singles final today (July 15).
And she didn’t disappoint wearing a Self-Portrait belted bouclé and lace-trimmed pleated chiffon midi dress.
Self-Portrait feels like Catherine’s current go-to label. An it would appear that the Princess loves this one-and-done design, which imitates well-curated separates.
The bouclé jacket finds its inspiration in the ‘60s, with its peplum hem wonderfully juxtaposing against the vertical lines of the pleated skirt, which I’m sure she selected on account of its tennis ball green hue.
We all know how much Catherine loves a matchy look, but it would’ve been a tall order to find matches to this dress, so I’m not surprised to see her opt for neutral accessories here.
