Issa Rae attended the world premiere of ‘Barbie’ held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (July 9) in Los Angeles, California.
Honestly. I’ve struggled to get on board with Issa’s looks during this promo tour, however this custom Marc Bouwer was an exception.
I adore the colour, and the retro feel – which you’re likely to get from this designer – but I’m wondering why he opted for a turtleneck and velvet.
For the latter, I’m guessing it was for the fluidity, as the dress looked beautiful in motion. And for the former, I remain confused.
Chopard jewels and a hot-pink clutch amped up the Barbiecore vibes.
