Kate Middleton’s brother James and his pregnant wife Alizee Thevenet has been seen for the first time since the couple announced they are expecting their first child together. James and Alizee made an appearance at Wimbledon on Thursday, following in the footsteps of his older sister, the Princess of Wales, who stepped out at the All England Club earlier this week.
The couple looked loved-up as they took in the action on another busy day at SW19, which saw Katie Boulter, golden girl of British tennis, sail through to the third round of the tournament. James Middleton, dapper in a linen suit and contrasting polka dot tie, put a protective arm around his wife, who leaned into his side. Meanwhile Alizee was typically stylish in a green broderie anglaise dress by French cool-girl label Sézane.
It comes less than 24 hours after James Middleton shared the happy news of the pregnancy on Instagram. James, the younger brother of Kate and Pippa, shared a series of photos of his dogs gazing at Alizee’s burgeoning baby bump with the caption: “We couldn’t be more excited … well Mable might be. It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella however we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family.”
James Middleton wed his French partner Alizee in an intimate ceremony in the picturesque Côte d’Azur village of Bormes-les-Mimosas in September 2021. They shared a selection of photos shortly after the event, revealing the bucolic charm of the location, the role played by one of their beloved dogs and the ultra-cool Citroën 2CV they drove to their beachside reception at Café Léoube.
