Fresh from last night’s premiere, Margot Robbie was back on the red carpet and wearing pink – again – for the ‘Barbie’ press conference on Monday (July 3) in Seoul, South Korea.
I’m honestly surprised it has taken this long in Margot’s promo tour to see a look from Jeremy Scott’s Moschino Spring 2015 collection, as the collection was dedicated to the Mattel doll.
After the show Jeremy was quoted as saying “Like every girl and gay boy, I loved Barbie.”
I guess it was all about timing, and this was deemed the perfect time by Andrew Mukamal, who has curated the most perfect promo tour wardrobe for the actress.
Margot’s Moschino custom hot pink long sleeve crystal tufted cardigan paired with a matching one shoulder bra top and mini skirt was inspired by Sparkling Pink Barbie which was released in 1964, and was later re-released in 2009.
I love how Margot’s version of the look was matched with a pillbox hat, and yet more sugar was poured into this look with the Moschino heart shaped bag and pink Manolo Blanhik ‘Barbie Arched’ mules.
Were the accessories too much with this look or are we still in “the more camp the better” camp?
