Chinese actress Song Zuer attended the GQ Creative Inspiration Party held in Shanghai last week.
The 25-year-old actress, who is the brand ambassador for Fendi and the spokesperson for Emporio Armani women’s watches and accessories in Greater China and Asia Pacific, wore an Oscar de la Renta strapless hydrangea embroidered dress from the Spring 2023 collection.
I love the playfulness of the mini dress. Especially as it opened a gateway allowing her to be as creative as she wished with the styling.
Repurposing some hydrangeas to create a headpiece was the perfect choice. As was the beautiful DeBeers butterfly necklace, as the scented pure white summer flower is loved by butterflies.
But we must talk about the leather gloves and the shoes.
I don’t have any problems with the shoes as they blend into the carpet, ensuring that the dress is centre of attention.
But. They allowed the leather gloves to be an option, and I don’t feel like this look needed them, even though they are the accessories of the moment…still.
